Marketing Experts Reveal Secrets to Be Heard for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners
Albany, NY- February 29, 2008 -- As part of National Be Heard Day on March 7, a group of marketing experts will be offering free tools and programs to help entrepreneurs and small business owners find their voice, tell their story and be heard.
Be Heard Day was created in 2005 by entrepreneur Shannon Cherry to celebrate small businesses inventive and low-cost ways to market and promote themselves effectively. "More than 145 million people in the US own a small business or is an independent professional. The day urges these professionals stop worrying about what the big corporations are doing - and start using creative, low-cost solutions to get known in their communities and beyond," says Cherry.
As part of the celebration, more than 15 professionals will be offering a free gift to help small businesses and entrepreneurs get the publicity they wanted and needed to grow. The free giveaways include: . Tools to Define and grow your Business from Laurie Boyce (www.themarcomlab.com) . Personal vs. Professional Special Report from Jennifer Gniadecki (www.marketingcurve.com) . Ten Cost-Free Ways a Business or Service Can Find New Prospects ebook from Shel Horowitz (www.frugalmarketing.com) . \"It's exciting to see how many great marketing professionals have jumped on board to help entrepreneurs,\" says Cherry, who is the owner of Be Heard Solutions (www.beheardsolutions.com). \"We've all been there and I think that's why everyone wanted to participate. Even when I first started out in on my own, I had very little direction and found myself fumbling my way through things, spending a lot of unnecessary money. I wish I had a resource like this when I was trying to build my business which is why I was motivated to bring these free tools to as many small business owners as possible."
